Support for the digitisation of the customer’s production processes and the resulting collection of BIG-DATA. Collection of production and process data in order to carry out analyses on KPI performance indicators in real time. The project envisaged the creation of a mapping of production processes through digitisation which allowed predictive analyses to maximise production quality and optimise costs. The activity covers the low level represented by the interfacing between the lower levels of automation (SCALA, PLC, machine sensors) up to the integration with the corporate ERP. Once all the PLCs and machine sensors present in the production lines were determined, all the sensors were interfaced with a standard communication protocol. After that, the data collected from production was integrated with the data from the management system and an application run on an IOT platform of the Industry 4.0 framework was created.
